Whitehall
Cottage is situated at the rear of no.19 High Street in Dulverton and
shares front door access with Whitehall Apartment. The front door leads
into a large hall which opens into a shared reception room where you
can sit and remove dirty walking boots before moving into the warmth.
There is a payphone in the reception room and access to the shared
laundry, which is equipped with a washing machine and tumble dryer.
The
cottage has its own front door from the reception room that leads into
a small hallway. The bedroom is located at the top of a small flight of
stairs, with the living/dining room, kitchen and shower room all
located at ground floor level.

The
living/dining room has an L shaped leather sofa, large leather ottoman,
table and two chairs. There is a widescreen TV with DVD home cinema
system. There is a log burning stove (logs not included, but available
locally) and a night storage heater with convector heater. Two deeply
recessed windows look out onto the courtyard garden.

The
back door opens into a glazed passageway with double French doors that
open out to the totally private courtyard garden with its climbing rose
and scented Jasmine. Patio table and chairs are provided.

At
the other end of the glazed passageway is the kitchen, which was once a
creamery, and still contains the original slate working surfaces. The
kitchen contains electric cooker with ceramic hob, microwave oven and
fridge freezer. At one end is a breakfast bar with stools and a night
storage heater.
Upstairs, the large
attic bedroom has a wrought iron double bed and combined wardrobe/chest
of drawers. At one end of the bedroom there is a raised area with a
sofa and bookcase, containing a selection of books and reading
material. At the other end is an original 1960's wicker chair hanging
from the beams.
The shower room has a toilet, hand basin and electric shower with a sliding glass door and a heated towel rail.
All electricity/power, bed linen and teatowels are included. Towels are available for £5 per person.

DEPOSIT 50% deposit required on booking, balance payable 6 weeks before start of holiday.
HEATING is by electric night storage heaters in each room. The living room also has a log burning stove - please provide your own logs.
ELECTRICITY is included.
LINEN All bed linen and tea towels are included (except linen and blankets for the cot).
washing up liquid, toilet rolls, cleaning materials etc. are also included.
TOWELS Available for £5 per person.
PARKING There is on-street parking on the High Street plus 3 public car parks.
SMOKING is not permitted in the cottage.
WIFI is provided free of charge.
DOGS are welcome if well behaved. £10 per week.
